Senior Quality Inspector – Contract
East Sussex 3–6 Months Outside IR35 Flexible Hours
We’re recruiting for an experienced Senior Quality Inspector to join a specialist precision engineering business manufacturing complex, tight-tolerance components and assemblies.
The Role
Inspect complex components and assemblies to drawings and specifications
CMM programming – essential
QCT CMM – highly desirable
Faro Arm – highly beneficial
Work with tight tolerances, GD&T and complex datum systems
Raise and manage NCRs, root cause investigations and corrective actions
Support supplier quality and continuous improvement
Provide technical support to the wider inspection team
About You
Strong experience in precision engineering/manufacturing
Proven CMM programming and inspection experience
Confident interpreting technical drawings, GD&T and specifications
Aerospace, automotive or nuclear experience advantageous
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and supplier quality beneficial
Able to hit the ground running in a hands-on contract role
