We’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Technician who thrives on solving problems, building prototypes, and bringing new concepts to life. In this role, you won’t just follow plans — you’ll help shape them. Working at the heart of a collaborative R&D team, you’ll get stuck into everything from mechanical builds and wiring to fault-finding, testing, and improving systems. What you’ll be doing:

• Building, testing, and maintaining prototype systems and equipment

• Turning design concepts into real-world solutions

• Troubleshooting issues and applying smart fixes

• Contributing ideas and solutions to push innovation forward

• Owning projects and reporting on progress with confidence

• Keeping the lab organised, safe, and ready for action

What you’ll bring:

• An engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) or equivalent practical training/apprenticeship

• Skills in mechanical fitting, wiring, cable assembly, and box builds

• Confidence with logic diagrams, flowcharts, or relay diagrams for fault finding

• A problem-solving mindset, analytical skills, and a drive to make things better

• A team-player attitude with strong communication skills
