Your responsibilities will include:
Wiring electrical control panels, backplates, gearplates and pendants.
Installing and assembling electrical components within panels and machinery.
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.
Preparing wired panels and assemblies for installation into complete machines.
Working alongside the wider team, who carry out the electrical wiring of the finished machines.
Supporting the production team to ensure machinery is assembled efficiently and meets the required quality standards.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Carrying out additional electrical assembly duties as required.
About You
We’re looking for someone with practical experience in panel wiring or electrical assembly, ideally gained within a machinery manufacturing environment.
You’ll ideally have:
Previous experience wiring electrical control panels, backplates or similar assemblies.
Experience working with electrical components and wiring systems.
The ability to read and follow electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment.
Exposure to bespoke machinery or prototype equipment.
Your own tools suitable for panel wiring and electrical assembly.
Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
