GRADUATE SALES ENGINEER

Are you a recent Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronics or Automotive Engineering graduate looking to start your career in technical sales?

This Graduate Sales Engineer role offers full training in sensors, applications and technical sales.

You do not need previous sales or sensor experience.

GRADUATE SALES ENGINEER – THE ROLE

As a Graduate Sales Engineer, you will work with customers to understand their technical requirements and identify suitable products.

You will:

• Handle incoming customer enquiries
• Speak with customers by phone and email
• Understand customer applications
• Recommend suitable sensor products
• Prepare quotations and proposals
• Follow up enquiries
• Convert enquiries into orders
• Work with overseas suppliers
• Support existing customers
• Cross-sell sensor products
• Support external sales teams
• Provide online web-chat support

PRODUCTS & TRAINING

As a Graduate Sales Engineer, you will receive training to develop your technical knowledge across:

• Pressure sensors
• Force sensors
• Position sensors
• Vibration sensors
• Strain sensors
• Data acquisition products

Previous sensor experience is not essential.

Technical and application knowledge will be developed through training and hands-on experience.

 GRADUATE SALES ENGINEER – PACKAGE

• £30,000–£40,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
• Quarterly bonus based on bookings
