Are you a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate looking to kick-start your design engineering career?

We’re working with a growing engineering manufacturer that is looking to add a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to its design team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on the design and development of innovative mechanical products and equipment, supported by experienced engineers who will help you develop your technical skills.

The Role

As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll be involved in the design team, including:

• Producing 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings.
• Supporting the design and development of new and existing products.
• Assisting with design calculations and engineering documentation.
• Working closely with manufacturing, procurement and production teams.
• Supporting prototype builds, testing and product improvements.
• Participating in design reviews and continuous improvement projects.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng or MEng)
• A genuine interest in mechanical design and product development.
• Experience using a 3D CAD package such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, Solid Edge or similar (through university, placements or projects).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• The right to work in the UK.

Industrial placement or internship experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
