We’re looking for a proactive, organised and customer-focused Customer Service Coordinator to join a busy manufacturing business in Harlow.

This is a varied role combining customer service, order management and production coordination. You’ll act as the key link between customers and the factory, taking ownership of orders from receipt through to despatch, keeping customers informed and ensuring delivery commitments are met.

Working closely with Production Planning, Item Preparation and Production teams, you’ll play an important role in keeping operations running smoothly, managing priorities and resolving any issues along the way.

Key Responsibilities, as a Customer Service Coordinator

• Manage customer orders from receipt through to despatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
• Liaise with Production and Planning teams to monitor order progress and confirm realistic delivery dates.
• Proactively resolve delays, customer queries and potential delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate order information using the company’s ERP system.
• Provide additional support with production planning and wider Supply Chain activities.

What We’re Looking For, in a Customer Service Coordinator

• Previous experience in customer service, order management or supply chain within manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong sense of ownership.
• ERP system experience and good Microsoft Excel skills.
• A flexible attitude and willingness to get involved across different areas of the business.
