Job Title: Panel Wireman (Contract Role – Outside IR35)
Hours: 40 hours per week (flexible start and finish times)
Location – Wokingham
We are looking for an experienced Panel Wireman to join our team on a contract basis, outside IR35. This role involves working with low voltage (sub-240V) electrical systems, with a strong emphasis on high-quality panel wiring. The work requires a solid understanding of complex tooling and methodology.
Key responsibilities include:
Electrical installation and wiring of low voltage control panels to a high standard
Basic soldering tasks, including cable terminations (solder buckets) and occasional PCB repair (surface-mount and through-hole)
Interpreting and working from electrical and mechanical drawings with minimal supervision
While 18th Edition certification is advantageous, it is not essential. What is crucial is a strong practical knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to deliver quality work independently.
This is a full-time role offering 40 hours per week with flexible start and finish times.
