IPC Technician

IPC Technician – Precision Assembly
Location: Havant, Hampshire
Hours: 37.25 hours per week over 4.5 days (with the last Friday of every month off)

We are a specialist recruitment agency currently seeking experienced IPC Technicians on behalf of our client, a growing and innovative business working on high-reliability electronic assemblies. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled individuals looking to apply their technical expertise in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble electronic hardware to IPC standards, including PCA, module builds, and harness assemblies.

• Work from detailed build instructions and technical drawings.

• Manufacture cable assemblies, test jigs and test boxes in-house.

• Maintain high quality and safety standards in line with company procedures.

• Take responsibility for the consistency and accuracy of your own work.

What We’re Looking For:

• IPC certification is essential.

• Previous experience in assembly, production or manufacturing roles.

• Strong skills in soldering, wiring and general electronics assembly.

• Solid communication skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

• Excellent planning, organisation and time management.
