VINTAGE CAR MECHANIC

We’re looking for an experienced Vintage Car Mechanic to join a specialist classic and vintage vehicle workshop in Rochford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vintage Car Mechanic with a genuine passion for classic cars and a strong mechanical background.

You’ll work on a wide variety of projects, from routine servicing and repairs through to engine and gearbox rebuilds and full restoration work.

THE ROLE

• Servicing & maintenance
• Mechanical fault-finding & repairs
• Engine & gearbox rebuilds
• Restoration projects
• Preparing vehicles for historic rally & racing events
• Working to estimates
• Working independently and as part of a small team
• Supporting events when required

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 5 years’ workshop experience
• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Classic or vintage vehicle experience
• Experience with engine & gearbox rebuilds
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience working to estimates
• Full UK driving licence
• Genuine passion for classic & vintage cars

Specific experience with a particular vehicle marque isn’t essential — technical manuals and literature will be provided.
