Contract Mechanical Design Engineer –CleanTech

 West Sussex (min. 3 days onsite)  2-month contract  ASAP start (latest 1st week Sept)

• 35-40p/h outside IR35.
• Hybrid working available

I’m currently supporting a CleanTech innovator who are looking for a Mechanical Designer / CAD Engineer to join them on a contract basis. If you’re a Creo pro who thrives on taking ownership of projects and delivering to deadline, this could be a great short-term opportunity.

What you’ll be doing as a Contract Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Producing accurate 3D models & drawings to ISO standards
• Taking ownership of work packages and delivering on time
• Supporting mechanical design team with CAD updates/documentation
• (Bonus) Designing and detailing test rigs

What we’re looking for in the Contract Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Strong CAD skills in Creo (or ability to pick it up quickly)
• Proven drawing/detailing experience to ISO standards
• A self-starter who can work independently
• Available to start immediately or by early September
