We’re hiring a Mechanical Fitter / Machine Builder to join a specialist engineering team building high-end automation systems — including robotic cells, precision handling equipment, and bespoke production machinery.
The Role
Assemble complex machinery and sub-assemblies to engineering drawings
Fit mechanical, pneumatic, and motion control components
Collaborate with design, controls, and electrical teams
Support testing, fault finding, and on-site installs when required
What You’ll Need
Mechanical build/fitting experience in automation, robotics, or machinery
Strong ability to read technical drawings and follow build specs
Skilled with hand tools, measuring equipment, and mechanical alignment
Team player with a practical, can-do attitude
Desirable
Experience building robotic or motion-based systems
Familiarity with pneumatics and basic electrical integration
Willingness to support site work (UK/international)
