We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Programme Manager to join our organisation a secure and steadily growing business that forms part of a leading European manufacturer of advanced consumer user systems.

About the Role

As the Senior Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the project management function across the organisation. You will ensure that programmes are aligned with cross-functional operations and deliver optimal outcomes for both the business and our customers.

This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and process development skills. You’ll coordinate multiple technical and engineering activities, guide internal teams, and ensure successful delivery across all programme gateways including ITCM, PDR, and CDR.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Programme Manager:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of programmes across engineering, production, and support functions.
• Develop and maintain robust project plans and internal work orders; ensure timely communication across all departments.
• Manage cross-functional teams and allocate resources appropriately to meet programme objectives.
• Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Ensure all programme phases meet internal gateway requirements (ITCM, PDR, CDR) and are aligned with customer expectations.
• Proactively manage scope changes (scope creep), ensuring commercial alignment and transparent communication with customers and internal teams.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of programme management processes across the organisation.

Requirements of the Senior Programme Manager:

• Proven experience in programme or project management, ideally within a highly regulated environment manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong background in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate clearly, listen actively, and influence others effectively.
• A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to share knowledge and support others.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and the highest professional standards.
